Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2004 at Groves memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, after a lengthy illness. She was in her 73rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Charles for 49 years. Mother of Margaret and her husband Nick Pfeiffer of Guelph and Linda and her husband Greg Marquardt of Fergus. Devoted grandmother to Wade, Bria, Aaron and Megan. Survived by one brother Ronald and his wife Inez Wilkin of Fergus and sisters Hazel and her husband Stan McLean of Owen Sound, Glenna and her husband Gordon Black of Fergus and Bette and her husband George Maidment of Kanata. She was predeceased by her parent Orvin and Mabel Wilkin. Marie will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She will be forever remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who was always dedicated to her family. Marie was a longtime resident of Fergus and a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for many years. Friends will be received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David Street, S, Fergus on Sunday, November 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held At St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Fergus on Monday at 2:00 PM.
