| Answer: | There are many ways in which you can honour the life of someone that was close to you for yourself and for generations to come. Some unique ideas are: -purchasing a stained glass window for a church -donating a park bench and having it inscribed with your loved one's name -creating a memorial home-page on the Internet -planting a tree -placing a grave marker in the cemetery (check the marker requirements with each cemetery). For those who have chosen cremation, many options exist for memorials surrounding the cremated remains such as: -an urn can be purchased for burial or placement in an above-ground columbarium -a special memorial vessel can be created to hold the cremated remains, such as a necklace or bracelet. |
