Oh Paul the things you thaught me over the years. The most memorable one would be when we came back from the island in the old Ford truck climbing the connector at 10kmh boy we sure seen a lot of things we never seen before. The memories of the bomb fires the best one was when we finally put the last piece of the boat on the fire I don't think you or Mike or myself were ever so happy to see fibreglass burn. Along with the boat all the hours we spent behind the cabin rebuilding the boat so you could whack your head with a waterski and then get back in the boat to go fishing. You sure knew how to make a person smile going to miss you but your in a happy place now and you can search for the gold you longed for HAPPY gold hunting Snoz. Angie

We had a lot of snow the first few winters after I moved into one of the cabins on Willett Rd. I distinctly remember having trouble getting up the long driveway in one storm, in a rear-wheel drive 1970s Volvo with All-season tires. Someone called out to me, "Don't be afraid, Ian. Just give 'er!

That was Paul, in a nutshell. Fearless. We weren't real close, but you were always a good neighbor, Paul, and rest assured I remember our early adventures: hunting for rocks in the hills above Kalamalka Lake and up by the dykes past Beaver Lake; New Year's Eve bonfires behind the cabins; crossing Wood Lake in a windstorm in a small boat with a too-small outboard that sounded like it might cut out at any moment, my late Black Lab cross (Lady) by my feet in the bow. You never gave up trying to dissuade me (unsuccessfully) from being such a hermit, and I thank you for that.

Farewell, neighbor. May you yet find that elusive gold in an unexplored location.

I can rememeber well, when i came to visit you in bc. I still visit the memory of driving to the top of the mountain and finding a couch at the top in the middle of nowhere,only you would know it was there, what a tremendous veiw and a good conversation we enjoyed, i remember the horshoes the campfires and the freindship you gave me .Rest in peace at the top of that mountain my freind,,,,Brad Nesbitt

I will always remember when Bob & Kim took us to the CNE when I was 14 yrs old...even though it wasn't really a date, in my heart it was. You were a sweetheart thru and thru. definitely a lot of good memories with ya bud from fishing to the bike and the days you wanted off work cause it was a good beach day lol. Oh man, you always moved at mach one and my job sites were never boring with you around, that's for sure. I never saw a guy walk a roof like he was walking on air like stink did. Just the day before you passed away my son had the pleasure of meeting you because you took the time to help him gather some sticks on a trailer for his fort at our place...One small act brought you close to him...I think my boy learned to pay more attention to people because he is most sad that he cant remember your voice. We are both saddened to not be able to have you over to see it done. Thank you Paul.

One of a kind teammate. Every minor lacrosse team has one. The fearless, street smart kid who knows which lever to pull on the pop machine to get a freebie, where to find a lacrosse ball, which phone booth had a quarter. The first kid in the group to jump off the top of the quarry, the only one to climb across the arena rafters during a Mohawk game ~ "Look up. There goes Stink." The non-stop station wagon entertainment to & from every game. 1971, you gave me my first ever lacrosse 'sleep over' ~ tournament early the next morning, needed a ride. Thank god for Snoz, Snazel & the skunk that named you, for giving all of us the funniest character on the team, a brother for life. Ultimately, Kenny's arch nemesis. A player. You were good, Kid. The best. RIP
