One day he and Aunt Beverly were visiting our house and he and I got to "wrasslin" on the living room carpet - I was likely about 4 or 5 years old and loved to roughhouse. Uncle Norval was a favourite wrestling opponent because unlike my older brothers - he never hurt me and usually let me win - though not easily... In my mind, I could take him!

Well, they had to go before I was really finished "wrasslin" and I was sad to see him back out of driveway as I stared out the living room window and waved bye. 

To my surprise, just a few minutes later, he returned and came up the steps and knocked on the front door. I was ready for him - ready for round 2 of "wrasslin" that is.

So, I opened the door and gave him a good punch... 

The problem was: It was not Uncle Norval returning to my house at all, but rather my Grandfather - Norval's brother who bore quite a resemblance - In my haste, I had mistaken "Pipi" for "Uncle Norval" - a fact made all too clear to me as my grandfather doubled over from being hit below the belt wondering what he had done to get such a response from his grandson...

The poor guy came to see some of his grandkids and enjoy a sunday dinner at one one of his son's homes only to get greeted at the door with a punch to the netheregion...

Thank God I was not stronger!

I hope Uncle Norval and my Pipi (Sherry Rock) up in Heaven reminisce about this one - Sorry Pip! - that was meant for your brother...
