It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Myrtle Arthora Baker, age 84, at Groves Memorial Hospital on July 14, 2018 after a well fought battle with cancer. Myrtle was born and raised in the Toronto area. Beloved and very devoted wife of Wilfred for over 66 years. Mother of Patricia (Rod) Richards, William (Marilyn) Baker, and the late Teresa Baker (2017). She was loving Grandma to Christopher (Sherrie) and Great Grandma to Aidan. She is survived by siblings Arthur (Dawn) Cousins, Garry (Gisela) Cousins, Barbara (Barry) Follett and Donald (Kathy) Cousins as well as many nieces, nephews and their children. Predeceased by sisters Joe-Ann (1994) and Lenorah (1991).
A Funeral Service will be held on July 20, 2018 at 1:00pm at Melville United Church, 300 St. Andrew St. West, Fergus. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Myrtle’s memory to the Special Olympics - a charity near and dear to the family or a charity of your choice.
