MONTAGANO, ROBERT JOSEPH
Bob passed peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, July, 10th, 2018, in his 86th year. Loving father of Julie Anne Montagano (Rob Morris) of Waterloo and Greg Montagano of Ohio. Dear brother of Carmen Leith of Oakville, Marg Dooley (Peter) of Waterloo and Ruth Rich of Connecticut. Predeceased by his brother, Ken Montagano, and his sisters, Natalie Delisle and Dolores Montagano. Beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Remembered fondly by his children’s mother, Darla Montagano. Bob was an aviation enthusiast, a former member of the RCAF and a proud Canadian. Special thanks from the family to the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and The Westhill Retirement Home.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation on Thursday July 12th from 6-9 pm at the Waterloo Chapel of Graham A. Giddy Funeral Homes, 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot). Memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 13th at 11 am. Reception to follow.
